1. About this policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used by scene.io, the Scene app and the decks people publish with Scene. It is operated by Scene Technologies Ltd, company number 15093585, 11 Charlotte Place, London, England, W1T 1SJ.
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way, and this policy covers them too.
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary without asking. Everything else waits for your consent, and you can change your choice at any time in the cookie settings.
2. The Scene website
The scene.io marketing site sets one necessary cookie, which remembers your choice. Analytics wait for your consent:

The site may also remember small conveniences, such as which demo step you were on, in your browser's local storage. That data never leaves your device.

Sentry, which we use for error reports, sets no cookies.
4. Published decks
Decks that people publish or share with Scene use your browser's local storage, not cookies:

Visits are reported to the deck's owner, as explained in section 9 of our Privacy policy. If the owner adds their own analytics or tracking code to their published deck, they are responsible for it and for asking your consent.
5. Managing cookies
You can change your consent at any time: on the website, use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page; in the app, use the app's cookie settings. You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, you won't be able to sign in. aboutcookies.org explains how to do this in each browser.
